The Komos beach on South Crete,Ceturues ago there was an old minoan portLocated between Matala and Kalamaki on South Crete, is one of the most beautifull beach in Crete. It is full of trees and you will find there shade to rest from the summer heat .The large curve of the beach, dominated by the Psiloritis and Kedros mountains, extends itself up to Kalamaki. And, if you’re lucky, you might see one of these protected sea turtles that come to nest in the sand during summer.
